LUCY

I have been practicing as an integrative therapist since qualifying as a counsellor in 2016. I have worked in various settings such as mental health charities, Mind and Samaritans, in the Occupational Health and Wellbeing sector and now as a private therapist.

I am warm and friendly with a down to earth nature which helps you feel at ease. I can help empower you to overcome a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, to name a few.

I provide a confidential, non-judgmental, safe space where you can be comfortable opening up about your inner most thoughts and feelings. We can explore your patterns of behaviour, your relationships, your history, the impact of the pandemic on you and anything that you feel you need to gain clarity on or offload.

Therapy will increase your self-awareness and I will guide you on proven self-help/CBT informed techniques that will help you cope with symptoms such as worry, overthinking, poor sleep, low-mood and low-motivation. I will support you with goal setting, to achieve the changes you want and encourage you to reach your full potential.

HANNAH

Having several years experience working with children, young people and adults, I can offer support to a wide age range from 13+.

Reaching out for support can be incredibly overwhelming and scary. It’s very important to me to try and make this as simple and accessible as possible.

I qualified as a counsellor in 2019 and have worked within mental health for over 5 years, in the charity and voluntary sector.

Removing barriers to counselling support is very close to my heart and I pride myself on being a down to earth practitioner.

Counselling can be helpful for a variety of different difficulties such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, loss and many more. Being able to talk these thoughts and feelings through in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space can help to unburden, process and manage these issues. As well as looking at solution focused practical methods, psychoeducation and coping techniques for challenging emotions.

I can encourage you to develop a deeper self-awareness and offer insight to improve understanding, in a way that empowers you to reach your full potential.

TESTIMONIALS

I just want to say a massive thank you for helping me get through the hardest times in my life. You have helped me to stop self-harming which I thought I'd never do. You have helped me learn it’s okay not to be okay. I’ve become a totally different person. Thank you for being there when I needed someone to talk to.

These sessions and talking to you is giving me hope

These sessions are really helping, I can see I am already making positive changes and I’ve been recommending counselling to everyone I speak to

I feel like a different person than I was when we first spoke, I know I will never go back to feeling the way I was. I have tools to help control my anxiety and different perspectives, I know my pitfalls and how to challenge them

I always feel lighter after my session and have a different perspective on things
